Protein packed waffles

INGREDIENTS

  • 40g plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 30g melted butter
  • 1 Sachet of Provytl 50+

Method

  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, Provytl, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Once the waffle maker is hot, spray it with cooking spray or brush with oil.
  6. Pour the batter into the waffle maker, making sure to fill the wells.
  7. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
  8. Carefully remove the waffles from the waffle maker and place them on a wire rack to cool.

To Serve

Serve the waffles warm with your favourite toppings, such as fresh berries, whipped cream, maple syrup, or nut butter.
